Bridal Fashion Week: Spring 2022

Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2022 was again virtual this year, and it did not disappoint.

Designers definitely designed with large weddings in mind as the industry eagerly awaits a return to pre-pandemic status. They also continued to design within the current space of micro-weddings. And, after a stressful year, they designed with unapologetic romance and exquisite attention to detail, giving the modern (and the not-so-modern) bride a lot of choices.

Many designers drew inspiration from classic old-world elegance for modern fashion lovers. Inspired by Shonda Rhimes’ hit Netflix series, Bridgerton, the gowns feature Empire waists, lace sleeves and beautiful jewels, all exuding romance and elegance.

For those who want to keep the vision of princess on the Big Day, flowy, romantic ball gowns with voluminous, feminine silhouettes, big bows, ruffles, squared necklines, sashes and romantic bishop sleeves—some even baring the shoulders—adorned in crystals and pearls offer romance and sultriness all in one.

For the unconventional bride who doesn’t necessarily want to focus on tradition, there are collections of ready-to-wear pieces, including gorgeous suits, mini dresses, tops and skirts, dreamy capelets and unique elements that aim to capture breathtaking fashion that extends beyond conventional boundaries. These designs take feminine style to a whole other level.

With so much to showcase, we will be highlighting the designers for the next week. Check out the Spring 2022 collection in our photo gallery by clicking above.
