Football season may be over, but Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Terron Armstead is always on the move—both on and off the field. Beyond the gridiron, Armstead is a lifestyle and fashion enthusiast, as well as a fine art connoisseur, embodying the bold and eclectic spirit of Miami itself.
Whether he’s exploring the city’s vibrant art districts, curating his ever-evolving wardrobe or immersing himself in the latest cultural trends, he brings the same level of passion and precision that he does on game day. Even when he’s back home in Dallas, Armstead’s fashion remains as sharp as ever.
In this exclusive interview with SIGNATURE BRIDE, Armstead talks about his personal style and how he seamlessly blends his love for fashion with his everyday life.
SIGNATURE BRIDE: Where did your love of fashion start?
Terron Armstead: My love of fashion started gradually, organically. There was no big moment, but I was influenced by the more experienced players who took their attire seriously. I was influenced by my New Orleans Saints teammates Mark Ingram, Demario Davis and Cam Jordan. I would watch them put so much emphasis on their pre-game outfits. It made me take a deeper dive.
SB: What (or who) influences your style?
TA: Deione Sanders was famous for his “look good, play good” mantra. So, I started wearing suits more. I also worked with various brands, including Lavoisier, to create my own look. I’m a big guy, and it’s always a challenge to find fashionable attire you feel comfortable in.

SB: Tell us more about your personal style.
TA: I am still in the early stages of my fashion journey. I like to tell a story, non-verbally. I try to be diverse and versatile. My shirt may have a message clear as day. I think this is a great way to be expressive and for people to see my personality, which is unique, diverse and confident. As much as I love fashion, I am a sweatsuit guy. I love hoodies. Give me a great sweatsuit with personality and a great pair of shoes and I am happy. And I am a jewelry guy. I love wearing chains, bracelets, watches and rings. I believe they add another dimension.

SB: Miami’s relaxed yet glamorous fashion vibe has fostered a new kind of casual chic, one that pairs elegance with comfort in a way that only the beachfront lifestyle could. How do you bring your fashion sense of blending high-end clothes and streetwear to the Miami fashion scene?
TA: When I am out in Miami, I add some Miami flavor to my style—more of the linens, cottons and the silks, the button downs with short set. I am not a tie person, but I love custom bombers, sneakers with suits and accessorizing with chains. I like to put more swag, personality flair without being too much.

SB: Who are your go-to designers?
TA: I am not married to any designer, nor does it have to always be luxury. I can get something for $20 and put stuff around it. I have a mix of designers I consider favorites: Haley Starr and Amiri when chilling. For more business or business casual I turn to Virgil Abloh, Naugatuck, Galle and Finn.

SB: How does your fashion sense blend in Dallas?
TA: I can wear a silk shirt to dinner in Miami that I can’t wear in Dallas. I can be more flexible in Dallas. For example, I can wear jeans and sneakers for dinner or clubbing. Dallas offers a lot of diversity that let’s me wear a suit, streetwear or athleisurewear.

SB: What would we find in your closets?
TA: I have clothes from 2015 and shoes from 2013. I’m all about the pieces. I like to mix/match designers in my closet to make it look like it all belongs.
SB: We hear you love custom clothing. What about custom clothing speaks to you?
TA: Us big guys have a hard time finding the right fit in the stores. Going custom gives me exclusiveness, knowing that no one has what I am wearing. Custom also offers me the opportunity to have the perfect fit and aesthetic.

SB: Favorite color or color scheme that you find works whether for work or personal life?
TA: Black. For an event or going out, I will add a pop of color.

SB: What recommendations do you have for grooms-to-be who want to look sexy and feel confident?
TA: Step with the ultimate confidence. Know you are the man. Have fun and experiment.
SB: Any plans for your own fashion collection/capsule or collaboration?
TA: I would love to do a collaboration.
