Galentine’s Day is more than just a celebration—it’s a heartfelt tribute to female friendship, empowerment and self-love. What started as a fun fictional holiday has evolved into a meaningful occasion that encourages women to uplift and support one another.
In this spirit, Model Insider’s Galentine’s Day Dinner was a night to remember, bringing together an intimate and inspiring group of young models to celebrate sisterhood, self-love and mental wellness.
Hosted at Barlume, one of New York City’s newest and most stylish restaurants, the event fostered a space for genuine connection and empowerment, and was a testament to the power of community, representation and unwavering support among BIPOC models.
The event was hosted by Victoria Seabrooks, founder of Model Insider. Guests included Early Fontenette, Hadassah McGrew (founder of Stoopid Faith), Allie Chu (co-founder of Oysters Hawaii), Fatou Jobe, Hannah Kerr (founder of Kerr Creative) and Imade Ogbewi, among others.

Founded with the mission of helping models thrive both professionally and personally, Model Insider provides access to credible industry professionals, resources and invaluable connections. The Galentine’s Dinner embodied this mission by encouraging open conversations about mental health, self-care and the importance of checking in with oneself, regardless of relationship status.

Sponsors for the evening were SIGNATURE BRIDE, Barbara’s Flowers, True Serenity Tea and Are We a Match? Special thanks to Ro Grady, a partner at Barlume, for providing the perfect setting for this empowering and intimate celebration!
