Sucré Couture Celebrates Spelman Sisterhood

Undaunted By The Fight” jewelry pieces are a tribute to the bold spirit, resilience, authenticity, and enduring sisterhood of Spelman alumnae.

For Spelman women, sisterhood lasts well beyond graduation. The new Sucré Couture Spelman jewelry collaboration honors that connection through “Undaunted,” a word drawn from the Spelman Hymn that speaks to determination and shared purpose.

Founded in 2011 by Kimberly Fomby Jefferson, Sucré Couture is a Black woman-owned jewelry and lifestyle brand centered on individuality and self-expression. Its bold, statement-making designs encourage women to embrace their personal style—an approach that complements this collaboration’s celebration of Spelman identity and sisterhood.

Launching October 9, 2026, the “Undaunted by the Fight” collaboration with the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC) celebrates the confidence, resilience and individuality of Spelman alumnae. The two jewelry pieces express personal style alongside pride in a shared heritage.

“We’ll wear door knockers and never stop knocking on doors,” says Nicole Y. Williams, NAASC’s Affinity Committee Chair.

Her words capture the collaboration’s spirit: women expressing themselves while continuing to advocate, lead and create change. For alumnae and current students alike, the pieces celebrate traditions and values that connect generations of Spelman women.

The jewelry will be available online at Sucré Couture beginning October 9 and in person at the Spelman College Homecoming alumnae event on October 10. Visit Spelman’s Homecoming page for registration information.
